Coffee, Shoes, and Diapers...Oh My!
"Why do you like sitting on the floor, naked, trying on shoes that are not even close to your size?" She laughs some more, and then gets up, with my fuzzy high heel ankle boots on, opens a nightstand with newborn size onesies, pulls one out, and asks if she can help with the baby and her "underwear", when baby sister is here!
I couldn't be more proud of my two year old. She is potty trained with the exception of "moon" pants at night. We have an occasional mishap with number two, but for the most part, she is done! She thrives on the praise we give her every time she is successful, so her question is no surprise to me. We are confident in her abilities, to the point where she is confident enough to ask..."Can I help?"
Are you confident enough in God's faith in your abilities, enough to ask if there is any place you can serve and help at your local church? If not...open up the word of God...He has a lot to say about how He has faith in us, through His Son, to get the job done!

Yes, it will require patience to let her help change her sister and dress her. When I think of the patience my Lord has had with me, I believe I can spare some for her! I think it will be worth the confidence that she will gain, in knowing that we trust her mothering abilities.
